As we complete the 4th turn and head down the straight away towards the end of the season, please remember to log into our website and post any ideas or have your say in any of the topics that will be brought up at the Spring Meeting. I do believe that there is room for improvement in our rules through some tweaking and not full changes of some of them.
I just don't want people to be hearing about the new rule changes on the night of the meeting. I would rather have everyone well informed and ready to vote on any new changes.Let's hash it out in the forums and keep the meeting moving that night.
Let's talk big handicaps for this first week of division play.
There are two teams that have to give the full 12 points to their opponents. Those two teams are The River Rats and The Four Horsemen. That's pretty tough to do on inner division play. The teams receiving these very nice points are The Crew and Team Flash respectively.
There are two teams giving 10 points away and they are The Ringmasters and The Two Baggers. The teams receiving these 10 points are The Sharp Shooters and The Hitmen respectively.
The next highest handicap awarded to any one team is 7 points.
Moe-B-Dick's Sliders have a BYE week this week and will be receiving 7 points for their BYE.

Here we are at the last week of playing outside of our divisions.
Things have been pretty quiet here on the site but there are lots to talk about so keep on getting those responses in on the Spring Meeting topics so we can have a great year next season!
I still have 6 teams that haven't paid their dues yet so please get those to me soon.

I have to readjust wins due to the # 21 team dropping out.
Any team that played the # 21 team will have their wins adjusted to their 3 game average prior to playing this match. This is one of our rules ladies/gentlemen.
We can vote to change it in 2011 but until then we have to abide by it for now. this will hurt a few teams.
Any questions or if you have a thought on this please bring it up in the "2011 Spring Meeting" forum.

Week #7 is "in the books" and the standings are posted in the downloads section.
We had fun playing "The Stingers" from Joey B's.
One of their shooters were late t the festivities (Dave) an we waiting a few moments for him to arrive before starting games 5 & 6.
Once he arrived, we continued on with the night and their sub sat out. That is good Captain skills right there!
We had another forfeit in our "C" division by "O'Leary O's" who didn't have enough people to shoot.

Here we are in Week #6 already! Time is flying by so fast that we will be at week #13 in no time flat!
While we wait for week #13 to get here, I have a video that will put a smile on at least one persons face that I know!

I would like to thank Dave for holding this tournament for the guys in our league. The turnout was small so we ended up holding a singles tournament that was a best of 3 games and double elimination. It went past 4:00 PM and Russ had to drop out due to back problems as he was guaranteed no less than 3rd place. Rich had to take his place and challenge me in the finals where I was able to win.
I hope that Russ' back is feeling better and i will see him in intra division play.
